Monday's Journal Assignment - Due 10/14/13

Hello Class,

I forgot to tell you all what your Journal assignment was that is due on Monday. 

For Monday's Journal, please answer the following: 

What have you liked most and disliked most about college, and why? 

Please have at least one paragraph written (5-15 sentences. 

And if you see any of your classmates, please spread the word to them about this, in case they do not read their e-mail.

Journal # 2 Assignment

Just as a reminder to everyone, your next journal assignment is due on Monday (September 16).

Your topic for this week is: What do you think of when you hear 9/11?

As I mentioned in class, I know many of you were only 6 or 7 years old when 9/11 happened. You can focus on what it means to you now. A story that you heard about someone that survived or maybe didn't survive 9/11. Or maybe you remember it from when you were young, and you can write about how you felt. What did your parents say? What about your teachers? Did you get scared?

There is no minimum or maximum writing requirement for this. Just write. And make sure to read after you write to pick up any mistakes you may have made.

The topic for our first journal assignment is: Who has been the most influential person in your life? Why? 

Your entry should take up at least one page of your journal and should be handed in at the beginning of class on 9/9/13.
